Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add vanilla and eggs to the butter mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 24 hours before baking.
